concerts that did not suck!

tori amos put on a damn good concert last year in houston! in 98' she seemed a bit depressed, but last year ... *G* wow! i thought i was going to float away. i also took my mother with me as my date to it, and it turned her into a fan as well.

also in '98, i was able to see depeche mode on tour. they've been around for a long time, but they had tons of energy. *blissfully sighs* i highly recommend that if any of ya'll should get a chance to see them in concert, do!!! they might not be on many more after this, and something tells me they won't be going on tour in their old age like the rolling stones have, not putting that down either though.

barenaked ladies put on a good show too. there were a lot of preppy people there that didn't seem to care about any songs that weren't off bnl's stunt album, how disapointing. at the stp concert, there were a lot of preppy people that went just for the interstate lovesong, then and there that song created bad faction with me. i seriously don't understand peeps who only like one singular song by a band, but will not even listen to anything else by the same band. ok, this is becoming a rant instead of a praise, so this post is coming to an end. ta ta!

Metallica (from what EVERYONE--my friends, my boss, and my family who has gone--keeps saying!) my fave band and i STILL haven't seen 'em in concert! frown

The Offspring, AFI, and L7 (back in March of 1997--i think--in Panama City Beach at Club LaVela)--it kicked major ass! it was the very first stop of The Offspring's new concert tour for their "Ixnay on the Hombre" album.

from the late 1970s to Enter Sandman....
I hate them now!!!
*but yes Old METALLICA put on a awesome show back in the days....

Aerosmith was good Mel.....so was Eve 6....Treble charger was pretty good to....and I won't say what my first concert was then EVERYONE would kill me *G*
